The Rooms
The Chameleon Room
The décor in the chameleon room has been tastefully chosen to ensure that you feel completely rejuvenated with all the comforts of home. The room boasts of its warm lighting tones in the evenings, large space, mosquito nets, ceiling fan and quality queen size bed. It has an en-suite bathroom, complete with a bath and shower, basin and toilet.
The Zebra Room
Feel at home in this bright and airy room with a ceiling fan and mosquito nets. This contemporary room is decorated in cool, subtle bush tones to help make you feel comfortable and relaxed. Two quality single beds are provided which can be pushed together and turned in to a King Size bed if needed. You can even sit back and relax on an arm chair reading your favourite book. An en-suite bathroom is provided with a separate shower, bath, basin and toilet.
The Monkey Room
The monkey room is a beautifully furnished bedroom that has been tastefully decorated to create a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere to bring out the romantic in you. Its en-suite bathroom prides itself with a luxury slipper bath that can entice you to lie in, amongst bubbles and a glass of Champagne. The room has a mosquito net and an air conditioner to give you the extra comforts needed.
In the evenings you will be sure to fall asleep to the sounds of the hippos snorting and lions roaring from the Crocodile River, which separate Marloth Park and the Kruger National Park.
Don't be surprised to be woken by the trumpeting of elephants on their way to the river for their early morning shower and drink, and even if they sound as though they are on your door step, they are at a very safe distance in the Crocodile River.
Facilities
Lounge
Indulge yourself, your partner, family or friends in this spacious, modern lounge after a hot day in the South African sun. The lounge comprises two comfortable sofas and two cubes to seat a minimum of six people. The air-conditioner and ceiling fan will be sure to cool you down quickly, with an opportunity to choose to relax in front of the telly or just lounge around with a book. A DVD player is provided to those who wish to bring their own selection of films. Alternatively, you can watch DStv but you will be required to bring your own Smart-Card.
Dining Room
The dining room table is a solid wood mahogany table that seats eight people comfortably, an ideal opportunity to wine and dine in style with your family and friends.
Kitchen
The kitchen boasts large open spaces which are sure to bring out the 'connoisseur' in you. It is fully equipped with a microwave, fridge/freezer, oven and all the necessary cutlery and crockery that you require. If however, you don't wish to explore the chef in you, a number of restaurants can be found within the local area.
Outside Area
The lounge opens on to a large outside entertainment area which is slightly raised from the ground, creating the perfect place to enjoy a glass of wine whist watching game pass by. You will be sure to be spoilt by sightings of Zebras, Impalas, Kudu's and other wildlife grazing in front of your very own eyes.
The house is visited daily by a number of the three hundred bird species in Marloth Park, such as the Crested Barbet, Yellow-Billed Hornbill, Paradise Flycatcher, Crested Francolin, Burchells Coucal (Rainbird), Burchell's Starling, Blue Waxbill and many more.
After a day of game viewing, relax in the splash pool and enjoy the modern facilities of a built in braai (barbeque). Whilst enjoying your evening meal outside you can experience the entertainment of the bush babies jumping up to five metres from tree to tree.
By nightfall you can enjoy the sounds of the hyena cackling under the starry African skies.
